Does Mabelle Cycle help restore regular periods in women with stress-related problems?

Yes, more women taking Mabelle Cycle restored regular periods compared to those in the control group. After three months, 62.5% of those taking Mabelle Cycle had restored cycles versus 27.5% in the control group.

Moderate study design 80 women aged 18-31 (mean age 24.4 years) with stress-related menstrual disorders

What they did

Researchers divided 80 women aged 18-31 with stress-related period problems into two groups for 3 months. One group (n=40) took Mabelle Cycle supplement. The other (n=40) received psychology consultation and physiotherapy.

What they found

Mabelle Cycle group showed progressive improvement: 22.5% restored cycles after month 1, 50% after month 2, and 62.5% after month 3. The control group showed 7.5%, 17.5%, and 27.5% respectively. Differences were statistically significant from month 2 (p=0.008). The Mabelle Cycle group also showed mood swings reduced from 45% to 7.5%, breast pain reduced from 40% to 10%, and depressive symptoms completely resolved.

What it means for you

A herbal supplement may help restore periods and reduce PMS symptoms in women stressed about their cycles. The study was not randomized and was open-label (participants knew what they were taking), so there may be bias. Results cannot be directly applied to all women with period problems.
